Why I Make Music
I make music because it's the one place I don't have to perform anything.
Life doesn't move in one direction. You can be moving through something hard and still find real joy in the same week — the same day, sometimes the same hour. I don't think you have to choose between being okay and letting yourself feel what you feel. Some days call for sitting in it. Some days call for celebrating anyway. I want my music to hold both.
I share my story so that someone else feels less alone in theirs.
"Art exists to document real life as it's lived."
I'm not interested in pretending I have it figured out. Growth is quiet, belief can be messy, and healing doesn't move in a straight line. If you've lived through something hard, if you want to feel understood, if you want to let go sometimes, if you're looking for somewhere you don't have to explain yourself... that's who this is for.
Thanks for joining me on this journey. I mean that.
